The Value of ASTD Engagement and Certification

Join ASTD of Southwest Florida on Wednesday, November 13th at Keiser University for a unique program that will start promptly at 11:30 a.m.

  • The value of an ASTD Power Membership is getting even better in 2014!
  • Learn how to take advantage of more resources than ever before!

The ASTD Competency Model and CPLP Certification (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) is changing to keep up with innovations in our profession.

ASTD Competency Model

Are you prepared to take advantage of these exciting benefits? 

  • This session will demonstrate how the national membership has been restructured to add more value to you, the members of ASTD.
  • We’ll also explore the changes in the ASTD Competency Model and the value of and process for becoming a CPLP.

 You can pay by credit card or choose to pay at the door.  We can only accept credit cards online.

Local ASTD Member: $15 with lunch, $10 without lunch, GUESTS or Non Local ASTD Member: $20 (with or without lunch), Student with ID Non Local ASTD Member: $10 (with or without lunch), Student with ID Local ASTD Member: $5 (with or without lunch)

Lunch is from Jason's Deli When you register please choose the type of Lunch that you would like to have from our menu listing.  If you are planning not to have lunch please choose that option.  Thanks!

Meet the SpeaKER

Jen Tomarchio Jennifer Tomarchio has 20 years of experience in the Training and Development field. She worked for First Data Corporation for 18 years in several different roles, as a Trainer, Training Manager, and Instructional Designer.

She’s developed many successful training programs for employees all over the world for classroom, web-based, and virtual Instructor-led delivery. She’s now a freelance Instructional Designer and independent consultant.

Jennifer is accredited with Graduate Certificates in Training and Human Resources Development from FIU and in Organization Development from Fielding University. She holds the CPLP credential from the American Society of Training and Development. Jennifer has been a member of ASTD since 2005 and was President of the Fort Lauderdale chapter in 2008. Today, she volunteers as a National Advisor for Chapters for the Sunshine Area supporting all of the chapters in Florida and Puerto Rico. She spends spare time with her two miniature dachshunds and volunteers with the Dachshund Rescue South Florida organization.
