• We’ll also explore the changes in the ASTD Competency Model and the value of and process for becoming a CPLP.

Meet the SpeaKER

Jennifer Tomarchio has 20 years of experience in the Training and Development field. She worked for First Data Corporation for 18 years in several different roles, as a Trainer, Training Manager, and Instructional Designer.

She’s developed many successful training programs for employees all over the world for classroom, web-based, and virtual Instructor-led delivery. She’s now a freelance Instructional Designer and independent consultant.

Jennifer is accredited with Graduate Certificates in Training and Human Resources Development from FIU and in Organization Development from Fielding University. She holds the CPLP credential from the American Society of Training and Development. Jennifer has been a member of ASTD since 2005 and was President of the Fort Lauderdale chapter in 2008. Today, she volunteers as a National Advisor for Chapters for the Sunshine Area supporting all of the chapters in Florida and Puerto Rico. She spends spare time with her two miniature dachshunds and volunteers with the Dachshund Rescue South Florida organization.
